PICKLEBALL
The game invented in the US by the American Pickleball Association was launched in Europe a few years ago, and now you can be one of the first to break into the fastest growing sport in the world with your own Pickleball court!
WHAT IS PICKLEBALL?
Pickleball is an innovative, fast-growing sport around the world that combines tennis, badminton and table tennis. The court is the same size as a badminton court, the net is similar to a tennis court net - but slightly shorter. The size of the court helps anyone, regardless of age or gender, can quickly master and enjoy the game! In fact, if you already know one of the three racket sports mentioned above, you can already play and enjoy the game at a high level after a few tactical sessions!
- How do we do it?
The Pickleball court
We undertake the complete construction of your Pickleball court! From laying the foundation of the court to the last additional equipment and sports equipment. We currently offer two types of Pickleball courts:
- Temporary conversion of an existing hard surface tennis court
- New - completely "greenfield" construction both indoors and outdoors!
- How is a pickleball court different?
How does it look like?
A pickleball court is generally much smaller than a tennis court, and is usually 13.7 metres long and 6.1 metres wide, while a tennis court is 23.77 metres long and 8.23 metres wide. The pickleball court has a small net, which is only 0.86 metres high, so the ball can easily pass through it, but players only need to hit low shots. The tennis court has a higher net and players can hit higher shots.
Why is it a good choice?
Playing pickleball requires little equipment, such as racquets and balls, so the sport does not require a lot of money. The game has a low injury risk because players are put under less strain than in other sports. The game is fun and friendly and provides opportunities for social interaction and building friendships.
Why choose Rebound Sports?
The world-class Australian REBOUND ACE® and American LAYKOLD® hard surface tennis courts, as well as the Swiss SWISS COURT® clay tennis courts are exclusively distributed and constructed in Hungary by Rebound Sports. All three manufacturers represent world class quality, therefore it is no coincidence that Grand Slam tournaments have been played on these surfaces in the past and present also.
How are they covered?
Pickleball court surfaces can usually be made of different materials, such as asphalt, concrete or artificial grass. The surface of tennis courts is usually hard surfaced and can be asphalt, concrete or a special hard surface.
