New Opportunity, New Challenge — Destination Paris, Eyes on Roland Garros!

Our company has reached another major milestone. No sooner had the opening indoor clay-court WTA tournaments of the European season concluded in April than we found ourselves preparing for a new challenge — proving, in front of some of the world’s greatest clay-court experts, why our portable clay court system is considered by many to be among the very best in the world.

Two months ago, the French Tennis Federation — organizers of the Roland Garros Grand Slam — approached us with a request for our services. For years, they have faced ongoing difficulties caused by bad weather, as the number of indoor clay practice courts available during rainy periods is extremely limited. The solution we offer was not unfamiliar to them, as last September the French Davis Cup team won its tie in Croatia on a portable clay court system provided by our company.

The project involved temporarily converting two existing hard courts at the French National Training Center — a facility also used by Roland Garros during the tournament, and serving as practice courts for the Rolex Paris Masters ATP event — into clay courts. The challenge was significant: the work had to be completed within 48 hours, without damaging the original surface, without watering the courts, and using a system fully approved by the International Tennis Federation.

The solution was our portable clay court system, which we developed six years ago and which has since proven itself at numerous international events.

During the first two days of last week, we successfully installed the two practice courts inside the venue. By Wednesday morning, players were already making extensive use of them, largely thanks to the rainy Paris weather — including several current and former leading figures of French men’s tennis. The initial feedback has been extremely encouraging, and we were especially honored to receive praise from the head of the team responsible for maintaining the Roland Garros courts.

Naturally, the surface cannot be compared one-to-one with the courts at Roland Garros itself, but it provides players with a valuable opportunity to continue practicing on clay during poor weather conditions, without having to travel hours to reach the next indoor clay facility. We are incredibly proud that we have the opportunity to demonstrate the quality of our work in the immediate environment of the world’s most prestigious clay-court tournament.
