Billie Jean King Cup Finals and Play-offs in November
In November, Billie Jean King Cup Finals and Play-offs were played all around the world. Seville (ESP) got the hosting rights for the 2023 Finals, where our team built five tennis courts as per previous years and also in other locations.
In Seville, we faced a particularly significant challenge as we had to set up the tennis courts in an open football stadium in La Cartuja de Sevilla. The organizers erected massive event tents on the football field, and we set up the tennis courts within these tents. In total we prepared three practice courts and two match courts.
Simultaneously with the Seville Finals, the Billie Jean King Cup Playoffs took place. Rebound Sports set up three portable tennis courts for these critical matches. After Seville, part of our team traveled to Kraljevo (SRB), where we assembled our special and unique clay-covered portable tennis court in just under 12 hours. Another part of the team traveled straight to the Austrian town of Schwechat, where, alongside the Kraljevo team, we built a clay court. Our journey didn't end there, as the United Kingdom also placed its trust in us, and we constructed a hardcourt for the showdown between the UK and Sweden.
